There've been a number of successful challenges to bans on firearms in public housing, including a case brought by Josephine Byrd, a resident of public housing in Delaware. 2/

In fact, I've yet to see a public housing gun ban upheld since the Heller decision in 2008. Unfortunately there are still plenty of these gun bans on the books.

They're just lawsuit bait at this point. They're clearly unconstitutional and should be scrapped. 3/3
