This is so crazy! When I looked up videos of the Notre Dame fire in Paris, YouTube put links to an encyclopedia entry on the September 11 attacks.

This was on multiple channels: France 24, CBS, and ABC.

We have no evidence this is an attack. But YouTube linked it to 9/11. Why?!
CNN puts it lightly, "A YouTube feature designed to combat misinformation offered some of its own."

Big Tech corporations like Google are doing politicized censorship of alternative media outlets, while they spread *actual* fake news like this

There is no evidence of arson in the Notre Dame Cathedral fire. It is probably an accident linked to the renovation going on now.

This didn't stop YouTube (owned by Google) from spreading literal fake news (while Google blacklists alternative media sites) nydailynews.com/news/world/ny-…

Unfortunately @JeremyScahill's claim that @TheIntercept has published "a wide range of voices on" Syria is completely false. 99% of its reporting on Syria has been cartoonishly pro-opposition (sometimes even more so than mainstream corporate media).
An editor of @TheIntercept is a hardcore sectarian who called Shia Muslims "dogs," smears everyone as "Assadists," shared a Salafi rebel propaganda video calling Hezbollah "the party of Satan," cheered at the murder of Qadhafi, & called Chávez a "dictator"
The Intercept collaborates with NED-funded regime-changers at Bellingcat and Qatar's Al Jazeera, and its articles on Syria quote fake "experts" like Charles Lister & fake government-funded opposition "NGOs" like SNHR, while its Twitter account retweets neocons like Michael Weiss.
