Disclaimer: I am neither a travel agent nor an agent of the university of Luxembourg. I was searching for a way out like many of you and stumbled upon useful information I thought I should share. Secondly, I run a blog scholarshipsfornigerians.com with a facebook group attached to it.
The university of Luxembourg was founded in 2003 and ranks amongst the top 250 universities in the world (timeshighereducation.com, 2019 ranking). It is highly multicultural with courses taught in English, French, and German.
Whether English/German, English/French or German/French, many programmes are taught in two languages, some even in three. You need to check that for the course you want to apply for.
The application procedure of the University of Luxembourg is very simple: all application requests must be done online here: wwwen.uni.lu/students/appli…. First, you need to choose your program, to be well informed about the study planning and prerequisite before doing an application.
Please bear in mind that they will need 4 to 6 weeks to process your application once it reaches their office. You are free to apply to more than one study programme. To do so, fill out the application form for the first programme.
Then start over for every additional programme, making sure to provide identical personal information for each application.
FEES: There is an enrolment fee of 400 Euros in semesters 1 and 2. For other semesters you pay 200 Euros each. No other tuition fees for foreign students.
Assuming you want to go for B.Sc. in computer science, there are 6 semesters (180 ECTS) including 1 mobility semester in a foreign country. Yeah, it is mandatory for those doing their first degree in Luxembourg to go overseas for at least one semester.
Each undergraduate student has to spend at least one semester abroad in their 2nd year. Interchange agreements exist with universities in 22 countries. For example, you can decide to do it in the University of Montreal, Canada, or others around Europe where an agreement exists.
Back to computer science B.Sc. program. There are six semesters & you pay 400€ for the first two & 200€ from semester 3 to 6. Teaching languages: English (Major), a second minor language freely chosen among french or german for some specific program courses

I found out you don't need to sit for IELTS if you've got a credit pass in English (S.S.C.E) for undergraduate programs. However, I have written to them for verification. Once I get the information right I will bring it here.
Luxembourg has the highest minimum wage in Europe & students work 15 hours per week during school sessions and 40 hours per week when out of session. Public transport is free for all students.
