Just getting around to reading Mueller Report. On page 20, we learn that Rosenstein wrote a heretofore unknown expanded scope memo on October 20, 2017. This memo authorized investigation into Rick Gates, Roger Stone, Michael Cohen (including Essential Consultants). 
The expanded October 20 scope memo also authorized investigation into Jeff Sessions for alleged false statements before Congress.
What I find most interesting in the October 20, 2017 memo is that it authorizes investigation into people & entities engaged in "jointly undertaken activity" with others -- specifically naming Paul Manafort.
Why do I find that interesting? Well, just four short days later -- on October 24, 2017 -- Tucker Carlson reported the Mueller investigation was taking an unexpected turn. Carlson said that the Special Counsel was investigating the Podesta Group.
In the same segment, Carlson says investigators were examining the confluence of the Podesta Group, the Clinton Foundation, and Uranium One. (cued up)
