4. Rosentein & Mueller, realizing a mere 10 weeks after the start of the probe, that Russian Collusion was ridiculous, understood that Mueller needed a new scope in order to continue the witch-hunt through the midterms. Rosenstein provides it.

5. Rosenstein, likely issued the revised scope memo to include the search for obstruction of justice, based partly upon the anger inside the Mueller team caused by Trump's tweets, prompting Weissmann's insistence: "does not exonerate him” be included in the summary letter.

6. Rosenstein having provided the impetus to continue the Mueller probe for 2 years, in a genius move by AG William Barr, is retained at the DOJ and asked to review the final Mueller report to conclude the matter of obstruction (Barr knows what the classified scope memo says).

7. Barr also knows the classified scope memo will be public sooner rather than later. If Rosenstein doesn't complete the circle of filth that he initiated by agreeing with the AG that there was no obstruction, there will be lingering questions.

8. Rosenstein, as pointed out by @AlanDersh on @lauraingle's show last night obviously had no choice, without implicating himself, to conclude that Trump could not have obstructed Justice by firing Comey since Rosenstein himself had recommended it.

9. Rosenstein offers to wear a "wire" to entrap the President.

Addendum: @AndrewCMcCarthy also makes the case today that the collusion narrative was already dead inside the Mueller/Rosenstein camp well before the revised scope memo was ever written. Yet Rosenstein allowed it to continue for another 1 1/2 years.

Addendum: At the end of today'sBongino show, he makes that same point that I laid out in this thread. Rosenstien's name is on everything and the only way to tie it all off was by having RR sign the summary letter with Barr saying there was no obstruction
