I think a key thing to flag here is the view expressed by this twitter employee should not be controversial, but Twitter is so worried about upsetting conservative politicians that it won't publicly touch this argument with a 10-foot pole
Not controversial in that the strategies taken against ISIS were *so* scorched earth and *so* intense that of course a similar approach against white supremacy would piss off Republicans
