It breaks down how toxic masculinity is a cycle of abuse that hurts men and leads them to hurt the rest of the world. What I found in my research, the science of it, just blew me away and changed everything I thought about society.

The book lays out how American masculinity is a complete lie and how every man fails to live up to it because it's unachievable, and so they either lash out at the world, killing and assaulting, or else inevitably hurt themselves. Sometimes both.

Not to mention how toxic masculinity has led to the radicalization of insecure white men who take up assault rifles and commit mass shootings or else join a fascist organization. Honestly, it's the root of so many problems. And that radicalization is just like what ISIS does.
