While we are thrilled the next step for the #EqualityAct is the House floor, here are the 10 Republicans who voted AGAINST protections to prevent discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. /THREAD
Georgia: @RepDougCollins voted against protecting LGBTQ people from discrimination. Is he your member of Congress? Call him tomorrow and tell him you were paying attention: (202) 225 9893
Ohio: @RepSteveChabot voted against protecting his constituents from discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. Is he your member of Congress? Call him in the AM and tell him you were watching his vote: (202) 225-2216
Ohio (again): @Jim_Jordan voted NO on protecting his LGBTQ constituents from discrimination. Angry? Good. Give him a call and tell him you were paying attention: (202) 225-2676.
Texas, we know you're not surprised that @replouiegohmert just voted the wrong way on the #EqualityAct, but worth reminding him in the morning you were paying attention: (202) 225-3035.
This is Alabama's @RepMarthaRoby. She just voted against protecting her LGBTQ constituents from discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. Is she YOUR member of Congress? Call her in the AM and tell her you won't forget her vote: (202) 225-2901.
Louisiana: @RepMikeJohnson just voted against the #EqualityAct to protect his constituents from discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. Remind him you're always paying attention: (202) 225-2777.
California: Is @RepMcClintock your member of Congress? He just voted AGAINST the #EqualityAct. Tell him how disappointed you are: (202) 225-2511.
Pennsylvania: If Rep. @GReschenthaler is your member of Congress, we thought you should know he just voted against the #EqualityAct to protect constituents from discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Tell him you were paying attention: (202) 225-2065.
Virginia: We know you just got rid of Bob Goodlatte, but if @RepBenCline is your new MOC, call him tomorrow and tell him how disappointed you are his vote against the #EqualityAct: (202) 225-5431.
FLORIDA MAN (@RepGregSteube) votes against protecting his constituents from discrimination based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. If he's your member of Congress, he really deserves to hear from you in the AM: (202) 225-5792.
Moral of this story? When Republicans show you who they really are, believe them.
