You gonna do a list on all the “nonessential items” Corporate CEO’s buy while not paying taxes and denying their workers healthcare & a living wage?
Like mainstream media helped to elect the current buffoon in chief, they will bend over backwards to make citizens feel like shit for wanting a glass of wine, a haircut or some coffee & say nothing of billion dollar corps paying no taxes & paying their workers pennies.
And folks internalize it. “Well maybe if you saved more! Jordans! Iphones! Crab legs!” So if we’re to take this advice and STOP buying these things, and these companies go out of business...guess who’ll turn around & write how Millennials destroyed such & such company?? Right.
These companies need folks to buy them to survive. So IT SEEMS TO ME THE BEST THING FOR THE ECONOMY is to have billion dollar corps pay taxes AND pay ppl A LIVING WAGE, AND Universal Healthcare, ChildCare, eliminate the Race/Gender gap & guess what...
...people will actually be able to save AND spend to keep the country afloat and also...billionaires will still be billionaires. But no, easier to tell ppl they aren’t rich cuz they sleep 8 hours or tell a struggling family of 4 why they shouldn’t go out to the movies or dinner.
This list is really telling folks that in order to save the pennies they’re paid, they should starve, stank, walk everywhere then go home & stare at the walls. And folks in the thread are like, they have a point😂
Also, looking @ groups who’ve systematically been “at the bottom” bcuz of...oh I don’t know, the legacy of slavery/Jim Crow or the descendants of Native ppl’s who were murdered in the millions...yeah, the real prob is Jordans. Jordans have been around 4 centuries apparently.
