I almost made an NCAA-style bracket for the Democratic candidates, decided that didn't make any sense, so here's what I came up with instead: fivethirtyeight.com/features/silve…
Basically there are 4 big messages in the Democratic primary. The candidates generally fall into one of these groups, or their messaging is incoherent. (Exception: Bernie gets away with both 1 and 3 and it mostly works fine for him.)
Also in this edition of SILVER BULLETPOINTS: Biden's polling is a bit weaker in IA and NH than nationally. It's not a huge gap, but it's a little something for other candidates to build on.
