This whole interview was a train wreck. She comes off as if she really has given 0 thought to these topics and has no idea what she’s talking about. The bill she supports does ban supplemental insurance for non-cosmetic purposes.

Alabama bill is dumb and counterproductive. It’s like idiots who gather in stores carrying rifles to make a point about the 2nd amendment. The authors of the bill admit it will never go into effect.
The pro-life movement has been winning the debate and gaining support over the last decade by supporting incremental gains and contrasting it to the extremism in the other side. Trying to mirror that extremism is exactly the wrong way to go.
Further, this bill will do nothing to help challenge Roe. It will be kicked out of court long before that. It gives the courts an easy out that allows them to avoid the hard questions as to viability and what the actual standard should be.

Seriously, they looked at just 18 of Tlaib's closest friends & associates. Almost all of them have posted support for terrorists. Several of them posted content that ranges from depicting Jews as rats to saying that "Hitler was a dove" compared to what they wanted done to Jews.
I decided to check myself just because of how crazy it is that no one in the media bothered to find any of this yet. Here is the Facebook post being referenced.
Worth noting that these are all publicly available. For example, I easily found the posts from Jbara Mwafaq (who Rashida Tlaib tagged and thanked) depicting Jews as rats and suggesting "Hitler would be a dove" compared to them.

I've tweeted/RT'ed criticism of Orban visit a few times, but this is a bad take bc:

1) POTUS should not reward bad foreign leaders w/ praise/visits, but not comparable to bigotry from member of Congress. Also not new. Ex: Obama & Trump hosted/praised Erdogan, who is worse.
2) And far more important, the reason I spend so much more time on Dems isn't because there isn't bigotry on the right or things to criticize re Trump, but because those responsible for calling it out on both sides (mainstream press) tend to only do it for one.
Trump got plenty of criticism in the press for hosting Orban. I have no problem with that critical coverage. It's what is supposed to happen.

On the other hand, the press spent several days excusing and covering for Tlaib's comments.

Ever gone for an interview and you blank out when asked the question “tell us about your background?” Don’t worry it happens to most of us.
Or they ask a question related to a part of your resume and you begin with “erm erm”
As simple as it may seem, knowing the entire info on your resume from your objectives to your experience gives you 'un-matchable' confidence.

It’s okay if your resume was drafted by a professional CV writer. You should still take time out to digest its entirety.

It didn't matter who he picked. . and with Gorsuch they left the name blank, to be filled in with a magic marker
So when Cher says that our lives will never be the same if Kavanaugh is confirmed, does that mean that she will no longer be a multimillionaire?

Every part of this doesn't add up:
1. If Amazon workers are on universal Medicare or go to free colleges is that bad now?
2. Bill doesn't mention $15/hour or organizing, what's needed.
3. Dems are the real pro-family party, and (via eligibility) this is a tax on family size. /2
4. The safety net absolutely raises the reservation wage of workers, increasing their power and wages by making it easier to walk away. The one piece of the safety net you can argue is ~33% captured by employers, the EITC, isn't in their list of things to demand taxes on. /3
