I've tweeted/RT'ed criticism of Orban visit a few times, but this is a bad take bc:
1) POTUS should not reward bad foreign leaders w/ praise/visits, but not comparable to bigotry from member of Congress. Also not new. Ex: Obama & Trump hosted/praised Erdogan, who is worse.

2) And far more important, the reason I spend so much more time on Dems isn't because there isn't bigotry on the right or things to criticize re Trump, but because those responsible for calling it out on both sides (mainstream press) tend to only do it for one.
Trump got plenty of criticism in the press for hosting Orban. I have no problem with that critical coverage. It's what is supposed to happen.
On the other hand, the press spent several days excusing and covering for Tlaib's comments.

Me sending a few more tweets won't add much to the Orban criticism because it's already well covered by almost every major outlet/network. What they aren't doing is calling out Tlaib or Dems. I have to try to amplify legit criticism of them because the media refuses to do it.
If the mainstream press started being critical of both sides instead of covering for one, I could spend a lot more time calling out the right.
