The 24 hour (alternate reality) of a court hearing. 

Tomorrow I'll wake up and step into the bubble of adrenalin that will carry me through court date #52. 

First a quick scan of my phone to confirm all is going ahead as scheduled.

During the day, discussions with NIcole & Elly to arrange what time they will arrive at mine, to be together like we are every court date. 
(I've got the best couch in the family) 
Israel wakes and the calls from reporters will begin at 3pm.

I'll confirm with those who contact us - we are not in Israel now, we hope to be soon, we're available over Skype for interviews. 

I'll try to ignore my phone btw 4 - 5pm & spend time with my daughter before worry & adrenalin fully kick in.

I'll work out which media may be present and if it's better for my daughter to spend the night with her father. 

At 5pm our little WhatsApp chat of Israeli supporters, now filled mostly with reporters, will begin lighting up my phone.

We'll receive photos of the court, be informed about who is there, what is
happening and who can sit in to update us. 

We may order ubereats. Sometimes the anxiety won't let us eat, other times the adrenalin gives us a big appetite.

When the hearing ends we will first deal with the Israeli media over Skype.

We'll voice note or write our thoughts to the journalists who ask for comments to stick in their articles.

We'll receive a call from the Ministry of Justice with the latest news and be told what we can and cannot share with social media.

We'll update social media with the results of the court hearing and what to expect next.

We'll receive calls from Aus media if anything other than another delay occurs.
We'll organize all channels to come over the next morning - at the same time (not like our inexperienced selves the first time, interviewed by one channel after another)

I'll try 2 sleep but I know attempting to is pointless.

Thurs morn, if my daughter remained @ home, I'll get up from a restless night & take her 2 school.
I'll rush home, tidy the house, do a few radio interviews & dress appropriately 4 camera.

I'll try not to think about how this has become our norm and also how much I wish it hadn't.

I'll wait for my sisters to arrive so we can discuss what we will say together.

We'll expect the journos to turn up, knowing already how they'll rearrange my furniture.

Sometimes the camera men will bring a reporter, other times we will speak 2 a random spot on the wall answering questions through an ear piece.

We'll share our frustrations, hopes and the toll this constant waiting game has had on us.

I'll breathe a sigh of relief when the cameras leave and hope there is no breaking news in #Israel, the thought of more cameras that night too overwhelming.

I'll pick my 8yr old up from school $ she'll ask me about my day, I'll tell her just the basics.

At 6pm if she's occupied I'll turn on the news and watch our #bringleiferback campaign on the screen. Most times I'll wait till she sleeps to watch the clips available online.

I'll do a quick search, read any relevant articles and share those well written and informative.

I'll collapse and try diarize the last 24hrs to write it out of my system and one day into a book.

I'll ignore calls from well meaning friends, I just can't talk anymore. I know they understand.

I'll try to distract myself and get a better night's sleep but my head will be too full and noisy.

I'll eventually fall asleep with dreams of a new Thursday, a day unrelated to all things Leifer.
