Curious about what’s going on at the @FEC?

The Committee on House Administration, which oversees us, was, too. Their 46 questions resulted in 105 pages of answers and 68 pages of exhibits.

Get a big glass of lemonade and settle in: fec.gov/about/committe…

Here’s a roadmap…
There are 12 documents altogether:

• The 46 questions from House Admin.

• My cover letter to the Committee.

• “FEC’s Response to Questions from the Committee on House Administration” – answers on behalf of the full Commission.

/2
• The next five documents give individual commissioners’ views:

> Attachment A from me and

> Attachment B from Vice Chairman Petersen and Commissioner Hunter.

> The “Response of Vice Chairman Petersen and Commissioner Hunter to Question 46.”

/3
> The “Response of Commissioner Steven T. Walther to Question 46” provides his views on the Committee’s questions and valuable background on the Commission’s efforts to examine our “reason to believe” and timeliness standards.

/4
> “Chair Ellen L. Weintraub’s Supplementary Response To Question 17D” is my update
to the Committee on the schedule of executive sessions for the remainder of the year.

/5
• The last four “exhibit” documents provide backup material on several answers.
