So, this is going to take a few tweets, but I promise, it will be worth it. I have a feel good story and we all need this shit right now. We need to feel good about something. What happened is this:
I went into the bathroom at work, first thing in the morning. Our work bathrooms are single rooms, no stalls. It's not a large office. Anyway, I walked into the bathroom and immediately saw that someone had shit on the floor.
Not a huge amount of shit. It was just a single piece of shit. The size of a large marble or a kumquat..I don't know. I didn't measure it. It wasn't huge though. But it was pretty far from the toilet. A good 8 inches away. So, it really didn't seem like an accident
I mean, I guess it could have been, although I can't imagine how. Unless you were pooping little balls of poop and one went rogue and cleared the bowl and landed on the floor. But that seems so unlikely. And even if it DID happen, you would know it and probably be horrified
And then clean it up or something. So it did seem like it was done intentionally. Which is weird, cause it's a super small office so there aren't many people it could be and it is terribly disturbing that it's got to be someone that I talk to on a regular basis.
And this is how this is a feel good story. This makes me feel better about myself.
Because when my brain insists on replaying all the cringy awkward things I've done over my life, I have no defense. But now I do. Sure, asking the not pregnant girl when her baby was due was horrible.
But no matter what my brain wants to beat me up with, now I can counter with "Well sure, it was terrible when I fell out of that chair and face planted in my boss's office, but at least I have never shit on the floor at work."
