random sunday morning thoughts: im starting to think, beyond the obvious and beyond the meme of it, that something actually is "up" with modern rock music. [...]
was thinking about how many friends ive had and people ive known that really care about nothing... except music industry sanctioned bands and artists. these people often arent musicians themselves, so its completely unlike a painter being obsessed with another painter.
so many tie ins from popular bands to weird alphabet intelligence agencies, lots of rock artists very into the occult, seems obvious but maybe there is something deeper there beyond the surface level analysis. [...]
why is it the case that christian rock music is so lame? its so bad that the combination itself is a meme. but why? you can infuse a theological view of life into poetry, literature, art, dance, any art form, is there something intrinsic in rock music thats antithetical to this
i think of things like that as "nodes", little points you can feel with your mind where the surface of the mental landscape is not entirely smooth or able to be bent to your whims 100%, its usually a clue that theres something under the surface thats causing that rigidity
i remember songs and jingles perfectly from when i was a child, even after 20+ years. lots of these artists are tied in with groups that openly discuss rewiring peoples brains. modern people have so much of their identity caught up in the music that they like

ultimately i sadly had to stop listening to punk music entirely because i could feel it imparting this energy and view of life onto me that i no longer wanted. im still caught in this weird place where i like the music but dislike the mental and emotional effect it has on me.
for a while i tried to just ignore this effect + enjoy it anyway but i found that i couldnt. there was no way to negate the effect, the imparting of a worldview was an intrinsic immutable aspect of listening to the music and i had to stop. this made me think of music differently
ps confucius has lots of writing about how listening to the music of the ancients makes you a more moral better person

🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
this all sounds very obvious, big music artists like the occult: duh. intelligence agencies use music: duh. i guess ive just been realizing that there is something deeper and more metaphysical and shamanic at play, basically, and reflecting on the more complex effects of this
