RARE semi-wholesome sincere after school special posting on saturday morning. [content warning: advice / possibly uninteresting / not about paranormal semi-theological phenomena]
so i get a lot of dms and the most common one by far is "how do i navigate the fact that everyone around me thinks im insane for what i think" or "i feel really alienated from everyone because theyre really against everything i think + believe" etc.
i have a lot of experience with this and it used to be a theme of my posting you could say (lived in social justice mecca forever), but since i moved its not really something i bring up too much but dudes still message me about it all the time (which is cool, hmu im down) [...]
just kind of gave someone the full rundown of my take on this so im gonna post my response here if anyone feels like thats an issue for them. i think its someone everyone who has ideas that are antithetical to the mainstream deals with at some point [...]
but i think the initial first wave of it and deciding what to do and how to play ur cards when it first sets in is actually pretty difficult so, i am sympathetic if anyone is dealing with such things.
this may all be obvious + uninteresting to you, its all good, but like i said a ton of people hmu about this + as my account is generally about having all manner of non-mainstream views (EDGY CREW) im sure other people that are just getting into this stuff are thinking about this
remember when u first started having controversial opinions? mmm seems like so long ago now doesnt it...
