working on tiny bishop childrens book mock up today to shop to publishers. expansion of visual broadcast imminent... we will reach the youth with an uplifting ocular vibe...
i asked about cool and popular saints before but heres a small twist, any saint stories that are particularly good for kids? im looking through the golden legend this morning, most of my favorite saint stories have some kind of brutal gruesome death though
plan is also to drop some coloring book style stuff about famous pieces of christian art (or common symbols in christian art 🤔) so if youve got kids and they color stuff keep me on ur radar 🖍️

i have some theories about the ways in which visual art is fundamentally different from music, which is fundamentally different from art that is word based (literature, poetry, etc.). for this reason i dont feel i can make assertions about the nature of music or literature. [...]
i very strongly feel that mans natural response to beauty plays a huge role in the visual arts, and that this response is largely universal. cultural beauty preferences vary but only to a certain degree. most cultures agree flowers are nicer to look at than human feces. [...]
im wondering if people who deal primarily in music or literature (or poetry) could weigh in on how they see this reflected in their own fields. are musical patterns and relationships reflecting a universal ideal of "good music"? or are they culturally constructed, in ur opinion

jokes on you owen, we were just accelerating the decline of western art and permanently forcing western artists and academics into a position of detached critical irony as a joke. its actually about how those things are bad even though everyone thinks theyre good now, got you lol

There are quite a lot of interesting things we have seen in the new national youth policy, the most interesting will be the youth age definition from 18 - 35 years in the previous policy to 15 - 29 years in the new policy #youth #Policy #YouthPolicyNaija

Who is she?
Every woman who ever tried to flee abuse; everyone who ever wanted freedom.
She nearly made it,
but governments conspired against her.
The last time Dina was confirmed alive before vanishing was today,11th April, in 2017.
But I won’t forget ❤️
Dina is Saudi Arabian & was being abused by family members. She couldn’t take it anymore. For months, she planned her escape. She would fly to Australia, seek asylum, & start a new, free life.
Aged 24, she gathered her courage, got away from her family, & made it as far Manila
But her family, who are well-connected, got on to the authorities. Dina’s passport was confiscated at Manila airport. Desperate & afraid, she was still not prepared to give up.
Dina approached Canadian Meagan Kahn in Ninoy Aquino Airport’s transit lounge & asked to use her phone.

this summer once i get back from travelling my plan is to drop some fine art prints + focus on tiny bishop book publishing stuff, will probably start with a coloring book (if u got kids ill send u stuff) + simple book mock up about christian art history to show to some publishers
tiny bishop hits the museum, discusses basic christian art themes, scopes some major works like the pieta and some classic artists... honestly its gonna be pretty awesome NGL

Dad was detained in a #Texas detention center where @RAICESTEXAS consulted. Dad accepted a deportation to be quickly reunited w/ his infant child. However, the Dad was deported & NOT his child. The now 8-month-old baby has been in ORR custody for 4 months. #EndFamilySeparation
