So many white male editors in US media go out of their way to remind us they are gatekeepers of patriarchy - whether it’s in who they hire/don’t hire, who they publish/don’t publish, and the predators they often protect and enable.
And then we spend days raging on social media, jumping through misogynist hoops trying to prove them wrong e.g. when I read that Goldberg comment I was like fuck you I’ve written 2 books, total word count 140k words. The simpler version is just fuck you.
