The problem with the Esquire cover story is that it doesnt tell you it's the start of a series that endeavors to be wide ranging and inclusive it just seems like another article telling the world how hard it is to be a straight white middle class male.
Perhaps @esquire intends to be inclusive but this cover/subtitle scream 'a bunch of straight white male editors did this." Its an absolutely tone def way to start off an inclusive, supposedly multi issue, series during Black History Month in the 100th yearr of women's suffrage.
