Heavenly Father, I thank you for your Son, Jesus, and His death, resurrection and ascension to you. I thank you for the Blood on the cross, atonement of sins, and reconciliation back to you!
Thank you, Jesus, for sending the Promise of the Father which is the Holy Spirit. Thank you for giving Him to me! I am eternally grateful to live in your Light! Thank you for your Love, your law, your choice, your Sovereignty. Thank you for never changing.
Thank you for your Counsel and being my Best Friend Forever. I love you with my ALL. Thank you for remembering me and Loving me first. You are my Joy. Please pour out your Holy Spirit on all flesh, my beautiful King, so that they can taste and see your Goodness. I worship you!

This morning I dreamed I was asked to take the little girl I nanny for to the "daybed" (they don't have a daybed) and lo and behold day-bed = 670 & 67 ordinal. Today is 6/7. WHAT IS HAPPENING

Ordinary time, a thread. In the Liturgical Calendar, Ordinary Time is the time throughout the year that is not focused on one of the major events surrounding the birth, death, resurrection, and ascension of Christ.
Rather, it focuses on the life of Christ and his ministry–the in-betweenness of Christ's ministry–which was just as important for the salvation and transformation of God's people as those events previously mentioned.
For Christians, Ordinary Time marks the time that we contemplate the life of Christ, and therefore, our own lives as well. We are, after all, living in the in-betweenness of Christ's first and final Advents. It is a time of reflection, growth, and maturation for Christ-followers.
