If you are wanting to get started or just starting with FB ads it's important to understand the two types of campaigns you'll be running.

Which are Prospection (Cold) and Retargeting (Hot).

Let me break it down for you ⬇️
Prospection is when you are targeting people who have never interacted or seen your ads/product/store before.

Which is why you'll hear people refer to it as cold Prospection.

Since you're targeting a cold audience, testing is very integral to your success.
Retargeting is when you are showing ads to a warm audience.

A warm audience is anyone who's had some sort of interaction with your ads/product/store before.

Whether it was visiting your site, adding something in their cart, liking an IG post, etc.
Remember, the type of ads you run for Prospection should be different than the ads you run for Retargeting.
