It's like watching evolution, only speeded up... and, some might argue, played backwards. Imagine if TIGCUKTIFGUK had stuck to one logo, one name and one plan from the start! There was a genuine heady air of excitement and optimism for the first few weeks, but then...
I gave them plentiful benefit of the doubt through the first few iterations because what they represented was new and shiny and exciting. But eventually it dawned on me that the "Change" bit related to their own organisation more than to politics at large.

So, Labour's Brexit position is now clearer:
A) If it's a Tory Brexit, Labour will demand a referendum (but very likely won't get it). If there is a referendum, they will campaign for remain.
B) If there's a GE, they will campaign for Brexit, negotiate their own deal, then ?????
(It's still not very clear what Labour would do if they're in power - intentionally so, since they're trying to be ambiguous - but they certainly plan a pro-Brexit stance going into a GE. Note that a "Labour Brexit" is still Brexit, so if you want a Remain party Labour's not it.)
Open question as to what happens if Tories go ahead with Brexit & Labour fails to get both a referendum & GE. How will they position themselves on e.g. a reheated version of May's deal, or a harder or no-deal Brexit? Again, if you're looking for a Remain saviour, Labour's not it!

Let’s talk about #Evolution. We’ve all had that dispute with a #Creationist that uses any desperate measure to attempt to prove intelligent design over Evolution.

There are modern day examples of how Evolution works and I will explore several of them.
Part 1: Human Evolution

Vestigial traits are examples of leftover muscles that Evolution has kept in some humans. Everyone knows someone who can move their ears, but can you? These muscles are auricle & are found in Dogs/Cats & are used to direct ears towards sounds.
The human brain is shrinking, and one theory suggests that a smaller brain is more efficient, and is gradually being rewired to work faster & take up less room. Is the brain shrinking to solve problems, and inhibit violent traits?

Two camps here

“Save everything”

“Invest everything”

Never trust advice that is polarized
Here’s what I do:

I have enough saved to live comfortably for a year if I lose everything tomorrow

I also have a plan to immediately start making money the same day I lose everything

Always plan for the black swan events you don’t see coming
This is something that the “Invest everything” crowd doesn’t get

What the hell are you going to do if your assets are frozen?

What the hell are you going to do if your investments nosedive?

You’ve invested everything & now you’re on the streets

What’s your contingency plan?

🤔 Imagine how silly a plan to combat "Islamic terrorism" online would sound, if it only banned accounts of low-level foot soldiers, but specifically protected, elevated, and promoted Osama Bin Laden's account...

And then ran ads against the engagement that his hate generated.
There's a glaring hole in our threat model that leaves us powerless to stop the spread of these toxic thoughts:

1) The most vocal and influential white nationalist on earth, is Donald Trump.

2) But our entire society is constructed to show deference to powerful white men.
So if the person inciting terrorism happens to be a white man, we have only impotent tools to use:
* An egg
* A "scathing dissent"
* A woolly hat

Remember, Osama was an influencer. A talker, and a funder. He never really tooled up and put in dirty work himself.

Watching Baz Luhrmann’s “Romeo + Juliet.” Buckle up, ladies and gents, ‘cause I have thoughts.
Having a reporter do “In fair Verona, where we lay out scene...” is delightful. To do it in heavy-editing recap mode with police footage stuff is also delightful. Doing both is redundant.
Literally no idea why Luhrmann gives the Capulets’ dialogue to the Montagues and vice versa but sure let’s do this
