Wading through the @WingsScotland donor database crunching the numbers to dispatch perks (easy tiger, they haven't even been made yet, so won't ship for another month!) and I was feeling nostalgic.

THIS is the *ENTIRE* perk mailing from 2014.
This is JUST the Notepad perks we dispatched in 2018. There was another two pallets loaded with the *other* perks sent out shortly after.
And 2019?

TWICE 2018. Easily. There's over 2,600 of the keycard multi-tools to dispatch. And a whopping 1,000 tins of mints! MINTS! One-thousand tins!

Don't ever say that he doesn't give back. 😂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
In fact, there is so much Wings stuff to send out this year that we've had to build a specially-constructed room in our attic.

No really, I AM serious. A specially built room just for storing and assembling your Wings donation perks.

The postie going to go absolutely *mental*.
It's nearly finished. I'll post a picture of it once the shelving is in.

Things are a bit later this year because of a certain ex-leader of the "Scottish" Labour party taking up rather a lot of Stu's time, but we expect to ship goodies mid-September-ish.
All of this has a point, of course.

I start shipping the Wings perks just to "help out" with independence (I was still in Bath in 2014). After I came back to Scotland, Stu was really supportive in setting up ayeMail and has helped us create the infrastructure we needed.
As a result, we have gone from strength to strength, gradually increasing our capacity, skills and influence.

From that little box of a few dozen badges I mailed out in 2014 we've grown to the point where we can ship literally metric *tons* of pro-indy stuff in any given month.
All of that can happen because you've donated to us, or donated to Wings, or donated to Phantom Power, or donated to the National Yes Registry, and many others.

Every donation you give to the Yes movement where ayeMail is involved is fed back and amplified multiple times.
A £10 donation to us or Wings can easily result in £100 of economic activity within the Yes movement.

This is the power of connected thought and a connected political movement. And it was Wings who started it.

Remember that.
Also think about the economic impacts elsewhere in the chain. The printers, the manufacturers, the posties and the couriers who deliver stuff to your door. All the stuff we send out contributes to Scotland's economic output and jobs.
