INEC's point: There's nothing to call witnesses to defend, considering how weak petitioner's case is. "[Petitioners] confirmed that Electoral Act does not empower INEC to electronically transmit results. So it is not our duty to prove their case for them."

Below: #PDPropaganda
"Speaking to journalists, INEC’s counsel said the commission saw no reason to enter any defence since expert witnesses produced by the petitioners admitted that they never saw any server through which results of the presidential poll were transmitted." newtelegraphng.com/2019/07/inec-t…
INEC Lawyers: "Our client will, instead, rely on the evidence it obtained from the petitioners’ witnesses under cross examination. There is no need calling witnesses to help the petitioners’ case as doing so would have negated INEC’s stance as impartial umpire.”
If you're not closely following the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) case it's very easy to get misled by #PDPropaganda. Everything is twisted weirdly in a way that converts reality into its very opposite. Crazy. Same thing we saw during the elections.
