Professionally, I am disappointed at the lack of foreign policy questions.

Personally, I don't think the foreign policy community has done a good job setting up foreign policy debates in a way that's relatable to the average American.
Debates about undermanning at the State Department, whether we're using all our muti-lateral tools correctly, whether we are properly enforcing or eroding norms in the laws of armed conflict are irrelevant to most Americans.
And honestly, it's not like the foreign policy community has any good answers about what to do about Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Ukraine, or Hong Kong.
