Everyone keeps asking, What about Beto? Why him? he lost to the most hated politician in the country yada yada. So I am going to tell you why. It is part of where we are as a country and big part of who Beto is and what he brings to the table. Right now we are completely Divided
This division has been brewing for sometime, and Trump well he is an opportunist. He saw it and just turned the knob to full out broil. And uses, class, racial animus, fear and hate to stir up the worst in us. Beto? He is the opposite-He considers everyone equal & shows it daily
So here is some data. This is what happened in 2016. Beto made the decision to step up and take on what everyone called a "suicide mission" to run for Senate in blood red Texas. GOP/Cruz/Cornyn laughed him off. They did NOT take him seriously. NO ONE did. So he took it to the ppl 
He did this with no name recognition one county at a time. You know the number 254. He went where no other Politician went & showed up EVEN if he did not win all those votes in very red counties he won some and more throughout Texas. Dems in Texas finally had a voice thru Beto.
He spoke for us and many others once you see the exit polls. He spoke through us and for us enough to get us closer than ever to winning Texas and turning it blue which no one even considered. Texas was 50th in Voter Turnout but because of Beto it changed. That is mobilization.
This is the vote share. And through his relentless efforts to gotv, inspire engagement for first time votes to go vote, for regular votes, to donate and even volunteer there were pop up offices and Beto signs all over Texas.
BUT HE LOST!! You might scream. To Ted Cruz! Well you dont understand Texas.
Texas love our own even if he is unpopular elsewhere. Cruz did better against Trump. So that argument falls flat.

There are plenty of reasons why no matter how much Beto & we worked our asses off we still did not win, Part is GOP dirty tricks. On election day, Trump had military exercises right at the border! Why? To add fear for those who could vote to do so. & This
All over Texas were reporting issues with the Voting machines. That was no accident. Ted Cruz sent false mailings out to stir up voters and even groveled seeking help from Trump who disparaged his wife and father to campaign for him.
Regardless of all those efforts by Cruz, Trump and Gop we still came out in droves to vote for our democracy, for a change to the status quo.
So that happened, he did not win this election but we were still part of something special & we all wanted him to run for President. GOP saw the threat. Any question why Trump decided to go to EL Paso of all places to hold a rally for his wall? well Beto not even running did too
Beto did a lot for Texas. He changed things here even not winning.
So what does GOP do? They see the writing on the wall. They try to nip it in the bud before he launches.

All the narrative out there painting Beto as an asshole, white privilege is so far removed from who he really is. He is NOT perfect but he is always humbly trying to improve himself & we see that. Ppl know when they come face to face & see him. He livestreams and is transparant
So here we are, He is still favored in Texas and that is big why? 38 electoral college votes. Plain and simple, and for the RECORD the most recent poll shows Texans do NOT want him to drop out and run for Senate
Why is Texas a path to the WH? Remember what happened in 2016? Take a look. Do the math your self. Compare it to any other high poll candidate and them winning their home state.
There is value to Beto being on the Ticket. Regardless of your opinion of him. And tbh he is a great character and wants to do right by the people he wants to serve. If the media/Pundits would sit back and just report what he is doing instead of the constant barrage of hit pieces
