Like it wasn't possible to achieve this without killing journalist, torturing activists, jailing bloggers, spreading hatred, funding juntas, and bombing Yemen. What are these people huffed up on? Why must we be roadkill in order for the lowest bar of reform to be met?

Saudi Arabia isn't "reforming". It's going from an abnormal Arab dictatorship to a normal Arab dictatorship. The only way for a dictatorship to reform is to become less dictatorial.
