It means that we should have the means to maintain a free state through ownership of weapons.
Clearly states this is ‘necessary’ and every example of gun confiscation in any society in history also confirms this.

‘Well regulated’ does not mean unfettered government regulation. It means organized. Right now, the people are not very organized, as we’ve come to accept that America is extremely safe and this isn’t a high priority. That’s on us.
‘Shall not be infringed’ mean that all regulation by the government is unconstitutional. In addition to be against our inalienable, gun control does not work.

Dumb argument 1: Your guns would be no match for our military weapons.
True but who’s going to be operating those weapons against us? The men of our military would not.
Guns are meant to be a safeguard against tyranny. We maintain a free state solely because of this right.

The vast majority of gun crime is committed with illegally procured weapons.

Dumb argument 3: Mass shootings are an epidemic.
Mass shootings are awful and horrific but statistically insignificant. Suicides are the vast majority and there are plenty of ways to do that even if guns were taken away.

Dumb argument 4: Gun deaths are a huge issue that we need to address.
There are many things that we should be talking about that are killing far more American’s more than guns.

What we need to be addressing is NOT guns. It’s physical & mental health.
These are linked, as drugs - both illegal and pharmaceutical- are creating a population of extremely mentally unstable people.
