Last month, the FBI raided the Los Angeles Dept of Water and Power (DWP), a city Attorney, and a few other locations of LA city agencies.

Now, there's some new info from warrants including that the investigation is bigger than originally thought.

City Attorney Mike Feuer's spokesman said the warrants served against him were in regards to the city's settlement of a class action lawsuit against DWP over a 2013 new billing system that billed people inaccurately.
Just had to delete my last tweet. Not sure what happened, but the link I included was dead.
It was originally thought all the warrants were related to the botched billing system, however, info from a warrant reportedly indicate that FBI also wanted info about cybersecurity and physical security issues going back to 2008.

Hmm, seems like there *might* have been some records destroyed....
Even more interesting - investigators were looking for records of recent international travel by DWP officials AND any agreements that DWP may have signed with foreign governments.

Did Los Angeles DWP sell out to another country?
Also being looked at is Paul Paradis, another attorney hired by the City Attorney to help them sue Pricewaterhouse Coopers, who oversaw the implementation of the billing software.
Paul Paradis also has a company called Aventador, which was awarded a $30 million NO BID contract to fix DWP's billing and cybersecurity issues.
And, let's not forget that the FBI is also investigating bribery, money laundering, and other crimes related to Los Angeles and Chinese company real estate investments.
