After yesterday’s happy day of 15th August comes 16th,one of the saddest days for the nation: anniversary of mass murderer Jinnah’s infamous ‘Direct Action’ aka Great Calcutta Killings.

Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it: Santayana,Spanish philosopher
Estimated dead 15,000 in just 4 days. Dead bodies could not be counted because many were thrown into the river or pushed into manholes.
Huseyn Suhrawardy,Premier of Bengal,gave an open call to slaughter Hindus from a public meeting at Calcutta Maidan. Governor Frederick Burrows,
Suhrawardy,Joint Police Commissioner Md Shams-ud-Doha made sure Police and Military remained inactive. They were activated only on 18th August when reprisals started,led by Bihari Kalwars,a Hindu butcher called Gopal Pantha and Sardarjis. The score was evened,but what a sad day!
Some of the exhortations by Muslim League leaders make our hairs stand on end. S N Usman,Mayor of Calcutta circulated a leaflet in Bengali which said “কাফের ! তোদের ধ্বংসের আর দেরি নেই ! সার্বিক হত্যাকান্ড ঘটবে ”! (Infidels! Your end is near! There will be total massacre”!)

Thiru Raja,after some 3 decades as a Swayamsevak,I know that RSS exists for one and only one objective: to awaken,unify and organize Hindus as Hindus. Not as Brahmin,Baniya or Shudra; nor as Tamil,Gujarati or Punjabi but as Hindus. Do you consider that a very ‘divisive’ agenda?

I am astounded that some are doubting if 'Allahu Akbar' has caused casualties. Some are even demanding proof! The Great Calcutta Killings aka 'Direct Action' of 16-19 August 1946,the call for which was given by Jinnah and executed by Suhrawardy claimed at least 15,000 dead.
The exact number of dead could not be determined because many corpses were thrown into the Hooghly River or thrust into manholes. !5,000 is a very conservative estimate. Interestingly,the dead were not all Hindus. During the last two days Hindus and Sikhs retaliated massively.
The Calcutta Killings were followed in short order by the Noakhali (then British India,80% Muslim,now Bangladesh) carnage,in which only Hindus were killed,estimated around 1,000. But it was more a case of destruction of property and cattle and forcible conversion than killings

Integrity. Funny thing. My ex, a pos, lied to my kid sister the most atrocious lies, as to others. My sis, left bloody and thrown from a car, my ex not only denied helping her when I asked, heard me curse my father the same, then lied to my sis saying I said she deserved it.
Its probs the grossest action to me ever. She did this after beating me up, destroying everything I own, and leaving me behind a store after kicking me out because she is an abusing pos and I called her out one night. It was Valentines. She lied to my whole family, of abuse.
When she was actually the drug addict, the drunk, the abuser. She lied atrocios lies, that lasted 3 years. She told people I abused her for calling her a cunt for doing this. She LIED to everyone.

Today is the day when the Butcher of Bengali Hindus, HS Suhrawardy, died a lonely death in Beirut. Just after independence, he fled like a coward to Dhaka as he feared that Hindus would kill him because of his involvement in both Direct Action Day (Great Calcutta Killings)
and Noahkhali Riots. Years later, he was driven out of Pakistan by Ayub Khan too. ‘Tell Suhrawardy not to try and return to Pakistan, otherwise I shall make sure personally that he never sets foot on its soil.’ - ZA Bhutto. It was within days of this threat, he breathed his last.

Statistics on #FarmMurders and #FarmAttacks were released by the South African government for the first time since 2011, confirming an average of 510 attacks and 56 murders per year, that is more than one per week.
Farmers are being slaughtered in the most horrific, inhumane, sadistic, barbaric ways. They are tortured until they die, women raped for hours on end while their husband's are forced to watch, their heads are crushed and they are set alight.

Before the infamous riot it was mostly a quiet place where both Hindus & Muslims lived side by side, some stray incidents of communal clashes did happen in past which quickly subdued.
