Seriously, if a guy sitting on a park bench were talking this way about someone who wouldn’t sell him a country—“ahbzurd. That’s not that right word to use—ahbzurd,” you’d assume that he was mentally incapacitated. Whether for distraction or from illness, it’s equally alarming.
Now imagine that the park bench guy is telling you hundreds of people were on the floor at the hospital, and doctors were abandoning their surgeries to come see him, they love him so much. Also, he’s God.
Now imagine that the press stands there with microphones, then reports on it as though it’s all just perfectly normal.
