Capitalist fundamentalism. It is the ideology that is driving societal and environmental destruction right now. They believe capitalism best orders the world and if people & the planet has to suffer so be it. It is about the rule of money. 1/ #FBPE
And it is the ideology behind this hideous money puppet politician government as it is the ideology behind the Brazilian money puppet government. The effects are profound & callous. The horrific burning of the Amazon is just one of them. 2/
It is astonishing when people place their belief in a machine that has no humanity, remorse, empathy or appreciation for beauty. They worship a machine that will without hesitation burn everything until there is nothing left to burn. This is not hyperbole, it is inevitability. 3/
And the religious fundamentalists who worship at the alter of mammon will justify it! They'll justify the burning of the Amazon in the same way fundamentalists justify the burning of people's lives. They are blinkered, conditioned, radicalized... 4/
And all the while it will be driven by a desire for wealth & power, power rule of the people and to overrule governments and democracy. It is international agribusiness burning the Amazon, using their puppet Bolsonaro to light the fires. 5/
And it is those same people lighting fires of hatred all over the world right now and it is those people of course behind Brexshit. They use hatred to burn down a society and create a new societal order from the ashes where they rule over the people. 6/
It is for that reason I decided to call them "Neo-feudalists". It really is that, swap the castles for glass cathedral offices & put it in a 21st century context, however it is the same. They believe they should rule the world... megalomania... 7/
Hedge fund managers are all about that... a clear example being one R Mercer, a chief funder of hate, an origin of hate and utter fundamentalist with many followers. 8/
So let us understand what is behind the burning of the Amazon. It is not one rogue South American politician, it is a plague, an ideological attack on humanity, & the Amazon is one consequence. Hate crimes are another. Jo Cox another. 9/
If humanity is going to have a peaceful 21st century the people need to wake up now to this onslaught, bin that American, bin this gov & Brexshit, fight off the extreme right across Europe and usher back in the winds of progress. #FBPE 🙏✌🏼
