🤔🤔🤔
Of course @Chuck_Huber leaked the audio. I believed that yesterday, and he virtually confirmed it in his affidavit. So....thanks, Chuck? I laughed.

certainly plausible - and then Screech had to track someone down who had the audio files

I heard that they were leaked forever ago, too. When the Schemmel f* clip leaked, friends of mine said they had heard it years ago. It was even vaguely familiar to me. The others might have been played at After Dark convention panels or something? idk

"Dragonball Z: Super Broly" lmao - but yeah, this is old news. They didn't want him. When Sabat didn't credit him for the first trailer, fans noticed, and he got asked about it at MCM Manchester last July.

"So the question that everybody has asked me at my table has been, 'Are you playing Broly in the new movie?' Here's my answer: I sure as hell better be."

This is sexual harassment of children. It doesn't matter if you weren't serious about hitting on this small child, @vicmignogna. You harassed her on a stage in front of hundreds of people at DragonCon and the audience promptly let you know it was wrong. And then you doubled down.
They made it clear they weren't interested, but you still believe they had been flirting with you? How many times has this scenario played out over the decades, @vicmignogna? Why do you still not know, at age 57, that women being friendly with you does not constitute "flirting"?
Okay, I'm done. Most of this document is just the depositions and a bunch of @RonToye tweets, each of which gets its own individual page. Sworn affidavits from Huber, Shitsandwich Slatosch, and Vic. Unsworn affidavit from that one Erica girl.

idk what to say about it honestly - he didn't give any evidence for it, or even name any names. If credible allegations arise in the future, we can deal with them then, but for now it's too vague to really address.

I wondered about this too - it stuck out because throughout the rest of Huber's affidavit, Schemmel was one of the bad guys. But I've heard stories over the years about Sabat antagonizing Schemmel because he's easy to fluster and Sabat finds that funny.

Stephanie Nadolny (Gohan) was fired at this time and replaced with Colleen Clinkenbeard. I heard it was because Nadolny's DUI probation made scheduling difficult. Tiffany Vollmer (Bulma)...I heard she just quit. She was replaced with Monica, of course.

Right, but she continued to do VA work for them and she still voices Uranai Baba, for example. Her son also works for Funimation (John Burgmeier); he's the head writer on DBS.

I doubt it. Even if you think Funimation was pressuring people, she had absolutely nothing to lose by supporting Vic publicly because she's not working for Funimation anymore. She does appear to have been shopping this casting couch story for a while, tho

In other words, there is no indication that Nadolny is supporting Vic. But apparently she tried to contact @BethElderkin, and Chuck Huber implied in his deposition that one of the female Kai recasts was fired bc she refused sexual relations with Sabat.

I've always heard that Nadolny was fired because she was an alcoholic with so many arrests that it made working with her very difficult. She has multiple convictions for property theft and DWI. And she has been shopping this casting couch story for years.

Huber mentioned in his affidavit that Sabat was the main person in charge of casting for Dragon Ball. From what I know, I think that's pretty true. So, he didn't mention Sabat by name in that particular allegation, but it's obvious who he meant.

It means that there are multiple people on Twitter implying years ago that Sabat fired her for some shady reason, and considering she tried to contact Beth Elderkin re: Funi drama, and Huber's story, where else would that rumor have come from back then?

Sorry, that last one wasn't from years ago, but the one I posted in two tweets above that was from 2016, and there are more. That one from March presumably comes from someone who was "in the know" about all this fantastic dirt Screech was compiling to own Funi in Vic's lawsuit.
This is also what I heard. After DBZ wrapped up, she decided to move to New Orleans and do music, so she simply wasn't available for Kai. It's also quite possible that they just didn't bother asking her to come back, though.

Just because she still wants to voice her old characters? Nothing about that contradicts the idea that she thinks she was wrongfully terminated.

I don't either. If Nadolny has a story to tell, then she should tell it. Clearly she wants to tell *some* kind of story, but she apparently requires a news outlet to make it worth her time.

I should also mention that Screech has been shopping this casting couch story for a while too. (From what I understand, Monica and Jamie have the same agent, and I'm not aware of any evidence that he is a sex pest, nor was any such evidence mentioned in today's filing.)
End of story: Screech has been entertaining this revenge fantasy for months and it fell super flat today. Sex jokes, hearsay, and legal incompetence. Vic is #stillfired, and he's going to lose this lawsuit, and Screech might not have the luxury of moving on to the next outrage.
They got #Funimation trending bc the leaked audio was massively entertaining. Top comments everywhere confirm that most fans were amused rather than outraged. If that's what Screech was going for, then congrats I guess? Those memes will live forever.

Exactly. The top comments on r/dbz, r/anime, and IGN for example are all people saying some variation of "who cares" or "holy shit I'm dying of laughter". On r/anime and r/dbz, it's not just the one top comment. It's like, the 10 top comments.

I read the whole document, except the parts I'd already read. The whole document makes for a better wrongful termination case than a defamation case, but that's not saying much. It's a shitty wrongful termination case, too.
If you're already read the depositions, then there's not much to it. I think every Dragon Ball fan should read Chuck Huber's deposition, at least. That's the meat of this thing, even though none of it helps Vic's case.

*affidavit, my bad

Also, head on over to Mike's Twitter cause he's about to give us the goods on this.

Yep, it was filed. Nothing new there. Shitsandwich Slatosch also gave them an affidavit. For anyone who has been following the #Threadnought arguments on Tortious Interference, you can see that he didn't offer anything helpful for Vic's TI claim.

Probably Percy in this case. I've seen several of the lawyers saying they write affidavits themselves and just get the witness to verify that everything is correct and sign.

Slatosch starts on p. 64, and I have no idea about his relationship with Monica. Here's his full affidavit; it's followed by Vic's Kamehacon contract and his texts with Ron which we have all seen before.

Screech is boosting this. Anyone feel like downloading it or watching with adblocker & letting us know if there's anything substantial in it? If all they've got is Nadolny, then they ain't got much. Her criminal record was reason enough to fire her, probably, inconvenience aside.
Nevermind, I downloaded it and skimmed through it and he doesn't have anything beyond what is in Huber's affidavit. I guess we'll have to wait to see what Stephanie has to say. One thing I did learn from the video is that the farms is gleefully anticipating Sabat's imminent doom.

Poor Rick

Really, it's not that much reading. Anyone can do it.

there's a word for what they are doing here

not sure it will fly with the judge

He considered himself to be friends with everyone but he got frustrated when his attempts to silence them—he literally threatened them and asked them to lie—didn't go over as planned. Predictably, he says in his affidavit he was just trying to save them.

"please don't mistake this as some weakness on their part" is tough-guy language, and the way he talks about Screech's plans suggests that he thinks it is no more than they would deserve for being stubborn and refusing to retract their statements.
