For the next couple of days, I'll be sharing a little something about a program of the @npower_ng called #NPowerTech.

Follow this thread for details.

But first off, it is important to state that the @npower_ng is a Federal Government (@NigeriaGov) under the National Social Investment Office (NSIO).

It was designed to empower Nigerian Youths within the ages 18-38, ultimately taking them out of joblessness

#NPowerTech's focus is on empowering Youths with market relevant tech skills to enable them earn a living as quickly as possible while serving their local community.
It runs on the 3T Model:

#NPowerTech

1. Train
2. Tool
3. Transition.

#NPowerTech, asides giving the youth market relevant skills, also works in partnership with industry leaders to giving them tools to getting started with work.

The two components of #NPowerTech include:

1. #NPowerTech Hardware: which focuses on producing Device Technicians. This program has empowered 6000 Youths across Nigeria; 1000/Geo-political zone

2. #NPowerTech Software: This will kick off in October 2019. It however is preceded by a 5 day Train-the-trainer session which starts today 2nd September, 2019

It's Day 2 of the #NPowerTech's Train the Trainer program and here are a few of things the training hopes to achieve:

The #NPowerTech software beneficiaries are divided into two batches based on their geographical location - North and South.

Registration for this year’s #NPowerTech training is closed, however the next registration will be publicized accordingly to enable more beneficiaries participate.
