Now that Parliament has been prorogued and MPs locked out for 5 weeks, I will revisit a suggestion from a week or so ago: one form of passive protest would be to lay flowers outside to mark the passing of democracy.

If you do decide to take this up (and I realise for most people it's not practical) please take a photo or video of your "tribute" so that it can be shared and gain some traction.

(It's the perfect stunt for a flash mob, especially if the media are still out on the green outside Parliament.)
FYI, direct deliveries to Parliament itself are not allowed. As in, stuff to go into Parliament. I don't think that applies to something to be laid outside, but of course you can't go via Parliament to get it placed there.
