Backed by 70% of voters (#LocalElections2018) our two major parties aim to take UK down to the minor leagues of sub-#G20 growth, supported by NO detailed plans as to the costs, complexities & consequences of such bizarre recklessness. Not just insane, but amazingly short-sighted!

3. People who think Brexit (in any form!) would be easy, painless or cost-free are very sorely deluded! Maybe the 70% who just voted Con/Lab in #LocalElections2018 should have been asking 'that question' of their wannabe councillors? before parting with their votes? Too late now!
4. Solid #LocalElections2018 support for Con/Lab at 35% each (70% total) is already being 'taken by them' as support for Hard Brexit positions? Thanks voters! You've just loaded their guns for them! All they have to do now is aim those guns at both feet, and those would be yours!
6. Con/Lab ran WW2 from a National Govt led by Churchill with Attlee No2. Contrast NOW and weep! Neither May nor Corbyn fit to lace boots for those true greats, yet BOTH back policies that would do DAMAGE to this Country? - despite huge opposition from their respective moderates!
7. It's high time for sane, moderate & well-informed representatives, from across Parliament, to re-assert themselves. When they DO, Brexit will be toast, before it burns all bar those who have taken financial positions to benefit from its lasting dire economic & social impacts.
8. Shame that a flawed gerrymandered misled coin-toss #Euref was SO readily adopted by diehard zealots, who are prepared to do this Nation real damage to suit their maniacal independence narrative. "Go it alone" doesn't work that well when you import 50% of all consumed food.
9...and force the 'export' of some of our finest people & firms, on the altar of what? No one has ever explained the benefits of #Leave, notably those who lied to win the day, and who now find themselves in Government, against the manifesto THEY backed in 2015? Who's the traitor?
10. Brexiteers have let the cat out of the bag SO many times (eg Jenkin on Toyota, Redwood on investing overseas) that one wonders about our once legendary British scepticism? Can't we see our futures being stolen? Don't we care enough to say NO to ANY Brexit? #FinalSayForAll
11. At last, Parliament is awaking to the insanity of Brexit! The @UKHouseofLords has all but rejected it. @theresa_may has been told she can't get it through @HouseofCommons. This is what happens when you play to the Diehard Blukip Brexiteers' Gallery, BEFORE having ANY plan!
12. Every single social policy objection & economic concern raised by #Remainers was made public BEFORE the #Article50 debate in Feb17. Having failed to protect the UK THEN, #Parliament is NOW rising to the challenge, but with SO much damage already done! Better late than never!
13. Wise @KenClarkeMP told @HouseofCommons 15mths ago - "Pretty soon it would be hard to find anyone who ever thought Brexit was a good idea!" Shame he was alone in @Conservatives to oppose IT, at that crucial stage! Now, even his colleagues are slowly coming around to that view!
