A tipster told me: look into the #2 person behind FEMA’s top official who was arrested by the FBI today for allegedly taking bribes in her role to restore power in Puerto Rico after Hurricane María.

His name is David Haas.
His bribery cases predates the arrest of Tribble. He was indicted in 2018 for allegedly taking at least $145,000 in bribes. Click on the link to read more.

When he was indicted and arrested, @FEMA said this: “FEMA is aware of the grand jury indictment against Mr. David Haas. The agency takes all charges and allegations of misconduct extremely seriously; however, as with any personnel matter, we cannot comment further at this time."

He was implicated in that scandal in 2012. A simple google search yields and article about it. But FEMA either didn’t know about that or they overlooked it. Haas served as a top FEMA official in Nevada, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii.
In Puerto Rico, we now know he was number 2 to Ahsha Tribble. She was arrested today charged with taking brides. There’s NO evidence or allegations suggesting Haas was in cahoots with Tribble in Puerto Rico or knew what she was allegedly doing there.
The arrests are embarrassing for an agency whose acting administrator, today, warned employees against even the impression of impropriety. @POTUS has called out corrupt politicians in Puerto Rico. He has a point. But there’s a point to be made about alleged corruption within FEMA
To be clear, Hass was the deputy to Tribble in Puerto Rico.
