Trump gets loud applause and a partial standing ovation at the Modi event in Houston when he says, "We are committed to protecting innocent civilians from the threat of radical Islamic terrorism." He's otherwise mostly been reciting economic facts and figures and praising Modi.
Trump is slightly modifying his standard rhetoric for this Indian-American crowd, saying things like, "We are going to take care our Indian-American citizens before we take care of illegal immigrants that want to pour into our country."
Trump repeated some of his usual false claims, but many fewer than in his ad-lib-heavy speeches. He mostly stuck to the Teleprompter.
