Bloomberg reporting today that the NCA has dropped an investigation into LeaveEU saying it has not received any evidence to suggest that Mr. Banks and his companies received funding from any third party to fund the loans from his IOM registered company 😉

The parent company of Rock Services is Rock Holdings, registered in the island with Mr Banks as a majority shareholder. As the Electoral Commission explains, "As a non-UK entity, Rock Holdings is not allowed to contribute to a UK political campaign."

In a court case in March, where LeaveEU lost their appeal against fines levied by the Electoral Commission, the judge was convinced £250,000 spend with Goddard Gunster was just for 'personal advice' and that the loan was from Arron Banks and Rock Services was not a party to it.

On Monday, the NCA dropped their investigation into Arron Banks explaining, "Mr Banks took a loan from ROCK HOLDINGS Ltd... and released these funds to Better for the Country Ltd, by instructing another of his companies, Rock Services Ltd, to make the transactions on his behalf."

Just to recap - "As a non-UK entity, Rock Holdings is not allowed to contribute to a UK political campaign."
