They have no place in civilian life.

Here’s a short (for now) thread of things that #hearing people really should know and somehow choose not to
1. It’s actually quite rude to ask someone how #deaf they are.

1.1 because there’s no direct relationship between how much hearing you have and how well you integrate with the hearing. Most of my friends can, technically, hear things I physically can’t.
2. Sign languages are actually languages, not just a fun accessibility tool.
