Empathy exercises don't show you the day to day.

All the tricks needed to navigate a world where your participation is forgotten.

At the end of the exercise, you can take off the blindfold, remove the earplugs, and get out of the chair.
That is why when I talk, I tie everything to day to day inconvenience.

Because humans are selfish.

If I tie the need to something you can relate to and deal with, maybe it will stick.
Why do we have contrast rules?

Have you ever tried to work outside with a laptop and deal with glare? Did higher contrast help?
Why does this need subtitles?

Ever been in a bar to watch the big game?
Why do I need to have bigger touch areas for my mobile app?

Have you ever tried to use it one handed? Like when you are carrying all your groceries on the other arm because you refuse to do a second trip and let the groceries win?
