I believe the slimy do-nothing Democrats WILL go to full impeachment hearings. Here is why I think this:
1) They know they can’t beat him at the ballot box.
2) They need the economy and markets to crash.
3) They’re extremely desperate to prevent another Trump SCOTUS pick.

3) ... They can’t risk Trump being re-elected because the probability of RBG needing to be replaced in his second term would be very high - close to certain. They just cannot risk that. And I’m sure they assume that if Trump were to get the chance next year in an election year..
3)... while under impeachment proceedings, he would not be allowed to have a nominee. Could, or would, Roberts come to their aid if that were to happen? Again, they are desperate and this is no doubt their #1 concern.
4) They need to curtail his campaigning. If they can tie him up in hearings, such that he can’t adequately campaign across the country, absent actual removal from office, that would still be a win in their minds. They need either removal or to beat him at the ballot box.
5) They need to deflect from the impending indictments coming from their 2016 election meddling and subsequent attempted coup of a sitting, duly-elected President. Obviously, regardless, they will call any such indictments political.
6) They desperately need to get the U.S. back into the globalist agenda that is U.N. Agenda 30: open borders, Paris climate agreement, green new deal, LGBTQ/gender mandates, etc etc
7) Given Dems know they can’t win the 2020 election, they have nothing to lose. They will throw every charge (old and new) at him in an attempt to sway public opinion against him, even knowing they won’t get removal from office. None of it will involve high crimes/misdemeanors.
It’s kind of obvious they are positioning themselves to go to full impeachment proceedings. They’re all out there saying this isn’t about the election; it’s about rule of law and “saving the Republic”. Nonsense. Socialists hate the Republic, and they’re all Socialists or worse.
