No one is disputing pregnancy discrimination happens. They are suggesting that Warren may not be telling the truth about it happening to her. In fact, it being a relatable experience is a good motive for a serial fabulist seeking votes to suggest it happened to them.
“This happened to others so Warren must be telling the truth” is not a good argument. It’s possible that Warren is telling the truth after years of telling another story and despite contemporaneous evidence suggesting otherwise, but that requires more proof than “it happens”.
Some people also get attacked at night and have racial epithets yelled at them, but that doesn’t mean Jussie Smollet was a victim of a hate crime.

We should follow the evidence.

Again, all i'm going to say is that when Americans are dying in half a decade because we had to go back after ISIS regained a foothold and we no longer have any proxy allies to fight for us, don't act like it's a huge surprise.
There is a reason Mattis, who put up with a lot during his time serving this admin, resigned over this in Dec 2018. It's that serious and the consequences are that foreseeable.

The SJP chapter at Bard college protested and tried to silence a panel of Jews talking about anti-Semitism. And a bunch of attendees and speakers at this "anti-racism" conference cheered them on.
They even protest liberal Jews who have nothing to do with Israel.

It's almost as if they are just antisemites using attacks on Israel and Zionist as a way to mainstream their hatred for Jews...
But good for @bungarsargon.

Unfortunately, this is an inevitable consequence of the normalization of anti-Semitism in academia and other places where intersectionality has redefined the acceptability of such bigotry based the identity of the bigots.

SMH. Nine year olds are not in a position to make that type of choice. This is obviously irresponsible, and it’s crazy that we have Presidential candidates who cheer it on.
Just once it would be nice to have a politician who says: “Your mom is clearly using you to promote her politics. That’s not something I want to encourage. I sincerely hope you get to focus on enjoying your childhood instead of worrying about stuff like that.”
No matter what that kid decides about their identity when they grow up, they are likely going to need a lifetime of therapy to deal with how their parents used them.

Why are we so insistent on preparing our autistic children to live in the world as it is, rather than preparing them to live in a better one we are building for them?
The world as it is is not fixed. It can change. Change is happening so fast, in fact, that almost all of us grew up in a notably different world.
The people in the world are not fixed. Give the same babies different nurturing and opportunities, and you get different kinds of adults. Young adults with down syndrome today are very different than their elders were a generation ago, to give one example.

I have written in recent days that Democrats have lost their way and I believe that to be true. I don't claim to know everything in this world but as I've been on this planet forty-six years now, one lesson I've learned is how often when you finally find out the truth ...
... about something that just didn't make sense, you learn there's more to the story than first expected. I don't think anyone else is going to tell these true stories, so I will.
I am not sure why I am ending up being the one to bring all of this to everyone, but for some reason I am. In my upcoming posts I'm going to start explaining to everyone at least partial stories, considering time, about how Democrats lost their way and ended up where they are.
