Again, all i'm going to say is that when Americans are dying in half a decade because we had to go back after ISIS regained a foothold and we no longer have any proxy allies to fight for us, don't act like it's a huge surprise.
There is a reason Mattis, who put up with a lot during his time serving this admin, resigned over this in Dec 2018. It's that serious and the consequences are that foreseeable.
This is just a repeat of Obama's disastrous decision to withdraw from Iraq. As Mattis points out, that led to ISIS' rise. Now we are setting ourselves up for their resurgence.
