Two years ago today, on October 13th 2017,
I responded to a tweet from my childhood friend which resulted in me speaking out publicly about Roman Polanski sexually assaulting me on the beach in Malibu when I was 10 years old.
There are numerous reasons I didn’t speak out publicly previous to 2017 about Roman Polanski sexually assaulting me as a child. I knew it wasn’t safe to do so, just as I knew it wasn’t safe to speak out about the crimes committed against me as a child by other perpetrators.

I don’t want to frighten my fellow silence breakers but considering what I’ve been subjected to since speaking out about Roman Polanski sexually assaulting me as a child I feel it’s vital to remind you that your mobile phone and other devices like an iPad are tracking devices.
My advice to you is to get a hard line installed and cease using a mobile phone. If you decide to carry/use a mobile then always keep the location off, keep it in airplane mode and in a Faraday bag when not in use.
Also, be mindful that you are able to be geolocated via apps.
Roman Polanski’s attorney, Harland Braun, told the press that he hired PI’s to look into me, he hired Black Cube.
They tormented me, my four children, my younger brother who is a USMC veteran and my husband who I’ve been separated from for four years.

@ParisMatch Roman Polanski’s serial rapist BFF Harvey Weinstein has come to his defense numerous times. Polanski’s recent attempt to distance himself from Harvey indicates there’s more trouble ahead for Harvey. Likely related to Jeffery Epstein & Ghislaine Maxwell.

Samantha Geimer has had to deal w being Roman Polanski’s only publicly know victim since she was 13.
The press abused her and her mother, I read it in the Los Angeles Times, heard the terrible things said about them from the mouths of adults in Malibu, they all sided w Polanski.
In 1977 Roman Polanski was not only given special treatment by the court, allowed to go work on a film, he was celebrated in the press while Sam and her mother were reviled. This is the culture that I lived in when being repeatedly sexually assaulted in as a child.
We can do better.

When a child says someone has hurt them, they are bravely asking for help.
Believe them.

When an adult survivor of child sexual assault speaks out after decades of living in shame and silence, often with PTSD, believe them.

Respond with kindness & love.

Today actually makes it over two decades since the sad killing of Ken Saro-Wiwa by the Nigerian State under Abacha alongside 8 others: Felix Nuate, Baronem Kobel, Saturday Dobee, Daniel Gbooko, Nordu Eawu, Baribor Bera, Paul Levura and John Kpuinee.

I think it’s worth a Thread.
This thread captures history from various perspectives all blended together to reveal a fuller picture.

It shows that Saro-Wiwa was also human like any of us but he was exceptionally courageous and dogged in spite of his human flaws.
Saro-Wiwa was a diminutive man who invariably always smoked a pipe and was considered quite brilliant.

He wrote a popular play which was adapted for TV when we were younger “Basi and Company”.

He was from Ogoni - an oil-producing area in Rivers State which has several villages.
