#HardRockCollapse: @mayorcantrell was asked about a construction worker who was detained by @ICEgov shortly after the collapse. She said she's working to get more information on that. @wdsu
#HardRockCollapse: that worker's attorneys are suing the contractors of the building. They announced today that he's being held in an @ICEgov detention center. They also said he's hurt, from the collapse, and needs surgery. @wdsu
#HardRockCollapse: @ICEgov confirmed that the construction worker is "in ICE custody as a federal immigration judge ordered he be removed from the U.S. in February 2016." @wdsu
Update on the #HardRockCollapse worker being detained at an @ICEgov facility: @CBPGulfCoast (Border Patrol) confirms its officers arrested Delmer Ramirez-Palma on Oct. 14. His attorney tells me his injuries from the collapse are really bad & he’s worried about treatment @wdsu
