When I set up a Patreon last week, the primary goal was to help with my favorite hobbies: eating on occasion and not going bankrupt.

Per the above thread, I wouldn’t encourage anyone to join my Patreon for any other reason than thinking there has been some value in my contributions here.
I will say though, the prospect of having a closer-knit conversation space is pretty nice though.
