I'm going to highlight some interesting tidbits from the Yanovitch hearing.

(her counsel)
We have repeatedly asked the State Department's office of the legal advisor to provide us with a written statement that we could read on their behalf so that their concerns regarding what
they term "executive branch confidentiality 'interests" could be heard by this committee. We have asked them to specify in writing particular topics with respect to which they wish us to point out their interests. And although we were told we would receive such a statement, we
In regards to Lutsenko: pg 30

He's very smart. He can be very charming 'He I think, is an opportunist and will ally himself,, sometimes simultaneously, I believe, with whatever political or economic forces he believes will suit his interests best at the time

Would you call him
someone who is corrupt?

I have certainly heard a lot of people call him corrupt, and there are certainly a lot of stories about his actions that would indicate that.

Lutsenko had a hand in spreading false statements about her. This, BTW, is the guy Rudy and Trump want back
Why Lutsenko wanted her out of Ukr: 38

I think that he felt that I and the embassy were effective at helping Ukrainians who wanted to reform, Ukrainians who wanted to fight against corruption, and he did not you know, that was not in his interest '
I think also that he was, I think he was personally angry with me that we weren't, we did work with the PGO's office, but he wanted us to work with him in different ways, and that we didn't have a closer relationship, and that I was not facilitating trips for him to the US with
our cabinet members, when there was, frankly, nothing to talk about because he wasn't a good partner for us

with the advantage of hindsight, you're going to think that I'm incredibly naive, but I couldn't imagine all of the things that have happened over the last 6 or 7 months,
I just couldn't imagine it. So we knew that there was something out there. We were asking ourselves, you know, what is going on?

You and us both Ambassador😡
She received no info from DOS that aligned with Rudy. (well that's good)

No one from the gov have asked her if she's guilty of what Lutsenko or Rudy alleged about her. Meaning it was a hit job as she said, otherwise she'd be under investigation.

She was warned by peeps in the
Ukr to watch her back because Fruman and Parnas had said they worked for Rudy, and they wanted her out😱 Rudy is so fuqqed

Rudy reached out to the Ukr Minister of the Interior in regards to LNG import from US. Wouldn't meet with Rudy he thought what they were doing was dangerous
pg 45 - February 2018!!!!

So your understanding in February and your meeting with Minister Avakov (Interior) was that he was aware at that time of Mr. Giuliani's interests in those topics?

A. Yes
52 - Parnas/Fruman

That they had business interests in the US that they were looking to I think expand is probably a better way of putting it, their business interests in Ukr through this energy co and that they needed a better amb to facilitate their business efforts here😱

She met with Rudy twice, first time in Spring of 2017, 2nd in November of 2017. Seems Rudy was there for his lobbying business (not registered!) John Huvane was with Rudy at that meeting. (John P. Huvane is the Chief Executive Officer of Giuliani Security & Safety)
OMFG 64

So you were informed, basically, that the statement was not going to be issued by the Secretary of State because it could be undermined by the President?

Yes. No statement was going to be issued, not by the Secretary, not by anybody else'
The GOP questioning has begun, and her counsel keeps interrupting because they keep asking inappropriate questions. During Dem questioning, he only interrupted for clarification.
GOP is very focused on SM gathering. Not sure why. They also were not happy with her opening statement given to WaPo. Schiff had to remind them that she could say anything she wanted to the press, but members in that room could not.

She asked DC for help watching SM in their
overnight hours because there was too much. State declined, sighting they didn't have the resources. 98

That's because Tillerson stripped the department of staff. This is a problem.

I sure as hell @RepAdamSchiff will be calling Sean Hannity in for a public hearing in regards to his reporting against Yavanovich!
Ordering her to come home 126

she said that there was a lot of concern for me, that I needed to be on the next plane home to Washington.

She said it was for my security, that this was for my well-being, people were concerned
ORLY?

There was a rumor in Kyiv that during the meeting between Mr. Mayor Giuliani and Mr. Lutsenko in January that the President got on the line.
