If Bitcoin can truly make it to $10T and stay there, it would constrain all the nations of the world.

That is by no means a simple path. En route to that level, wholly new attack vectors start coming online. Buckle up.
A company can issue new shares to promote corporate growth, but if it issues too many investors hold cash instead.

A nation can print more cash to promote economic growth, but if it prints too much investors hold Bitcoin instead.

Idea: corporate esports league

One thing you might do is have corporate esports teams play each other for real money.

Google vs Facebook in Fortnite Team Rumble, streamed live on Twitch!

Each company puts up $20k and fields a team. Winner claims purse, gives to charity.
Would also be fun for Twitter rivalries

Chapo vs Neoliberal
BTC vs BCH
Tech vs Journos
Carnivores vs Vegans

Twitter is already an async fighting game. Fortnite Team Rumble just makes it synchronous.
Each side has a captain who recruits the 20 person team & collects the purse.

The platform organizes the players and ensures the money goes to charity (or perhaps to the players themselves)

Platform also organizes pre-game, in-game, and after game social media clips

@lopp @aantonop adversarial thinking is counter-intuitive to most, and very hard to learn - like chess vs grandmaster: most people will never be able to beat a grandmaster even if they dedicated the rest of life to it. sounds elitist, but it's reality: schneier's law. best can do is seek review.
@lopp @aantonop and bitcoin has multiple traps with counter-intuitive security assumptions: applied crypto, p2p network protocol system-level effects, mining strategy game-theory, byzantine agreement protocol, code host security, even monetary economic theory. humility and peer review essential.

Agree with this. It’s a shame that there are a number of key factual errors (see also my TL) as they are important to the arguments and this is a very sensitive area.
Just to highlight a few more errors: This para refers to AIPAC as the "American-Jewish Public Affairs Committee". It stands for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. Bad in the context of justifying referring it to as the "Jewish lobby" (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_…)
This is wrong. Israel does not "grant citizenship to all members of its diaspora whether they want it or not". The true position is that anyone with a Jewish grandparent has the right to apply for citizenship. This error is bad in the context of a discussion over dual loyalties..

While everyone is on the topic of mining using hydroelectric because of the recent WSJ piece, worth mentioning that's what the majority of China based mining ops have been using for years now. Excess hydro is insanely cheap.
